Surf Report for Today:
Semi-clean this morning until 9:30a before northeasterly winds
turned northerly. Waves were in the 4 to 6 foot range, but more
in the head-high plus range at today's spot.maybe some bigger
ones. Swell had more westerly this morning than the forecasted NNW.

This being my first day out I played it conservatively until my
last wave of the day. Fool! Also caught my first body dings of the
trip by going in just off the channel into a minus-tide reef.
