The big swell that was forecasted a few days ago never materialized and the subsequent forecasts have been smaller. This morning's swell during mid- to high-tide was good for about an hour (I caught 30 minutes of that) but the wind began blowing on-shore and the form quickly deteriorated. The swell appeared to be mixed up and rather week. Weather conditions were great with partly sunny skies returning and as usual ultra clear water with the sun out. Waves at The Rock Southside and Lil Ala Moana had peaks of 5 to 6 feet and walls of 3 to 4 feet. The occasional connection to the inside reefs would jack up and become curly.
