Swell arrived overnight. I could hear it starting around midnight. Fact is I listened to it since about 2am as I could not get back to sleep. Finally, about 15 minutes before the wake-up alarm I dosed off to sleep. Took my time reawakening, prepared and then sped off for surf checks.
I could see some of my friends out at Little Teapoo and I watched TdlR breaking with about 8 to 10 people out. Sipped a couple from my cafecita and then decided to venture out with the crowd at TdlR. My wave count wasn't high but there were some good ones ridden. One of the Graves brothers was out tearing it apart from the main peak while I lingered over at the bowl picking off those that wandered through. So nice to catch and ride some of these again :) Looks like there will be some more tomorrow.
