CRNW Forecast of 2021-0606 (Sunday a.m.)

Interesting swell & wave development durng the forecast period starting with our "East Coast on the Reef" waves at 7 sec strong. A good time for everyone to practice their aerial and re-entry maneuvers! The 7 sec swell lingers for almost a week although the size and influence diminishes as it moves from SSW to W, meaning we will have some seemingly good looking walls that suddenly section and BOOM! ya. A good time to be wearing your protection ;) Or riding your mat ;)

Saturday is looking to shape up as overhead to double-overhead. Some of that swell will slide right by us but will also produce some nice long lefts (with the 7 sec playing tricks with us). Swells remain consistent enough to continue producing ridable and very fun surf. with the end of the period creating some bang-bang (the tune playing in the background is The Who playing, "Won't Get Fooled Again," in reference to my mid-bay rip-to-the-horizon experience during the last trip.

Maybe Surfline will name that swell, Las Congas, as it looks to produce some size and strong swell until Wednesday. That Monday (6/21/21) is also when the max tides begin showing their influence.
