PRNW Forecast and Report of Wed, 2016-0120a

I arrived to my beaches and it was still dark... could see whitewater reflected from the lights. Very cloudy and overcast.Went for coffee awaiting it to lighten enough to be visible as to the form, shape, regularity.
Checked each of my spots... PdP, Pepe's Paradise and TdlR. Chatted with one of the local boys at Pepe's Paradise before he paddled out. Took a goood long hard look at TdlR. Checked the southside.

Checked Marias, Domes, Indicators and finally decided to paddle out to Maria's Point. First three waves somebody took off or dropped in on me. On my fourth and last as well but he was way down the line and wasn't really a factor. All the same.Reinforced why I like my CR spot. That doesn't even count the waves I didn't make an effort to catch because somebody(-ies) else was dropping in.

Faces at Maria's and Indicators were 4 to 6 ft with plus sets beginning to show and 3-wave sets.
