David, Rick and I paddled out around 2p for a last session with Rick... Griz was riding another wave down at Playa Pilsen. Junky small surf at a low tide, much lower than we normally surf and for good reason... it was very shallow and becomes out of control in larger waves. The new swell never surfaced although at sundown was showing some potential.
David had a terrible experience with sidebites on the Xylem, complementing his 4.5 inch center fin. Maybe too much toe-in. He claims it paddles much more slowly.
Forecasts expected to resume again tomorrow.
