CRNW Forecast of 2021-0405 (Mon)

As you can probably see in the table below we are trending in the proper direction. My reading of the Tues, April 20 swell is that it could be a new swell filling in. LOL, no doubt about it as we pop from a 16 sec going to a 14 sec swell(4/15-19) to a 20 sec swell on the 20th. If that holds up at 4.2 ft swell @20sec, we are in for some joy-joy. Detailed long-range forecast below the table.

Long Term Forecast Analysis (Tuesday, April 6th and Beyond)

SPAC Overview:

The trend towards slowly decreasing surf size continues into mid next week. Good spots are mainly running chest to shoulder-high on Tuesday with Wednesday around waist to chest-high on sets.

A  new round of moderate scale  SSW swell is scheduled to move in Thursday, then peak on the 9th-10th and hold/persist with mid-period energy in the chest to shoulder-high+ zone through Sunday the 11th.

Beyond that, we are eyeing a larger swell through mid month from potential storm activity due to move through the central SPAC in a few days. Based on what we are seeing on charts right now, wave models look a bit ‘hot’ for this swell over the 15th-18th, but we’ll have to see how things play out next week. We’ll keep you posted.
